Nella Spec is a modern, patient-centered vaginal speculum designed to improve the comfort of gynecological exams. It was created by the medical device company Ceek Women's Health, which was founded in 2018 by Fahti Khosrowshahi. Khosrowshahi's personal experience with infertility treatments and repeated, uncomfortable pelvic exams inspired her to develop a better speculum.

Key features of the Nella speculum include:

The Nella speculum has been recognized as a notable innovation, including being named one of TIME Magazine's 100 Best Inventions of 2020. It is available in both reusable and single-use models. The product was designed by women for women and aims to address the discomfort and anxiety many women experience during pelvic exams, which often use speculums based on a design that is nearly 200 years old. A survey conducted by the company found that 90% of women reported a dislike of the traditional speculum, while 99% of patients preferred the Nella speculum when it was used during an exam.
