"Team Whiskey Endures" is the motto of Team Whiskey, a brand that started as a passion project during a family crisis and has grown into a lifestyle brand for outdoor sports and whiskey enthusiasts.

• Origin and Mission: The brand was founded in 2019 after the matriarch of the family was diagnosed with stage 3 metastatic ovarian cancer. The name "Team Whiskey" was used to encourage and uplift her during her recovery, making her laugh and smile. This positive response led the founders to realize the name's ability to unite people. Their core mission is to unite people and give back to the community, particularly by supporting families battling cancer. A portion of every purchase goes to Mary's Team Whiskey Cancer Foundation, which directly helps families emotionally and financially.

• Products:

  • Apparel: They started by offering "badass apparel" for outdoor sports and whiskey enthusiasts.
  • Whiskey: Due to customer demand, they expanded into producing their own whiskey. Their bourbon is distilled in Indiana with a unique mash bill (21% rye, 75% corn, and the rest malt and barley) and is non-chill filtered to preserve its natural flavor. They also proof it down with water from the Sierra Nevada region.

• Activities and Community Engagement:

  • Hunter Mentorship Program: They created this program for both adults and those under eighteen to help them get into hunting, recognizing a growing interest in sourcing natural protein. They aim to fill a gap as there's currently no government-funded hunter apprentice program for adults in any state.
  • 3D Archery Shoots: They host interactive 3D archery shoots, inviting local vendors and sponsors to donate products for raffles. The proceeds from these raffles are donated to organizations that help families and individuals battling cancer, such as Moms on the Run in Reno and the Give Hope Foundation.
